Six beautifully decorated Christmas Trees were raffled off for charity on Saturday, December 12.
The event was the 42nd Annual Christmas Fantasy Luncheon and Fashion Show, the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Soroptimist International of the Victor Valley.
Each year, club members are chosen to decorate the trees and buy gifts to place in the space underneath them. The winner gets the tree and the gifts. The theme this year was A Christmas Village.
Proceeds from the event helps the many Soroptimist programs that help women and girls in the local local community.
The luncheon featured a fashion show sponsored by Macy’s. Many door prizes included gift baskets, quilts, decorated Christmas wreath, abstract artwork by a local artist, and many others.
The decorated trees were on display at the Holiday Inn before the event. Winners took them home that day.
