Dead Doctors Don't Lie Author Speaks in Apple Valley

Dr. Joel Wallach, producer of the book and CD, “Dead Doctors Don’t Lie” has a lot to say about the mainstream medical industry. On December 19 he gave a two-hour presentation at Hi-Desert Center for Spiritual Living in Apple Valley. A veterinarian, naturopathic physician, author and lecturer, he played a major role in the developing the liquid vitamin-mineral supplement market. Wallach became nationally known through his widely distributed book and audio CD, “Dead Doctors Don’t Lie”. His basic theme is that nutrition can heal most health challenges, including arthritis, asthma, ADD, cancer, diabetes, eczema, fibromyalgia, insomnia, heart disease, high blood pressure, osteoporosis and many others. These claims are made using research he has performed on animals over the span of his career, starting in the early 1960s, when he was hired to discover how environmental pollution and other ecological factors were causing premature death of captive animals (and possibly of humans). During that time, he performed many autopsies on a wide variety of captive wild animals dying of natural causes in zoos. According to Wallach, he has been able to ascertain that many so-called genetic diseases can’t be so, because he found sysmptoms in rhesis monkeys that were histologically identical to those observed in human patients with cystic fibrosis. This finding led Wallach to propose that CF in humans was also caused by nutritional imbalances and/or deficiencies. As CF is considered to be a genetic disorder, his view seemed so extreme at the time that he was dismissed from his position at Yerkes Primate Research Center. Scientific evidence would subsequently catch up with his bold hypothesis Over about 20 years and thousands of autopsies later, Wallch is certain that the key to many so-called genetic diseases is nutrition. He submits to the public that he can cure these health challenges using a basic formula he calls “90 for Life,” consisting of 90 essential nutrients. These are vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and essential fatty acids. Wallach also makes bold claims about longevity, and during his slide show he gives countless examples of people who mostly live in third-world countries that have lived to be over 120, and in some cases over 200 years old. He attributes this to many factors, one of which are use of wood ash as a fertilizer for crops, which supplies many of the nutrients missing from the modern diet. The title of Wallach’s book, Dead Doctors Don’t Lie, comes from the fact that the average lifespan of a physician in the U.S. is less than 55 years old. He says people should live healthy and pain-free into old age. Get a free copy of his CD by calling and mentioning the Desert News Post (760) 265-1054.
