Ground Broken for New Hesperia Speedwash

The City of Hesperia’s Economic Development Department hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the Hesperia Speedwash to be located on Main Street in the Walmart Supercenter parking lot.
It will be a state-of-the-art facility, using eco-friendly wash solutions and recycling 80 percent of the water is uses, for a “green and clean” business. The $4.5 million investment means 15 to 20 jobs for Hesperia. Owners have taken advantage of the Small Business Administration Green Loan program by saving 15 percent of energy consumption compared to their Victorville location.
Speedwash offers a monthly unlimited fast pass car wash plan that is good at both these locations, and any future Speedwashes. These car washes are the newest and the largest twin tunnel express car washes in the state of California. They use technologies in car wash automation to provide a clean and shiny car in less than 5 minutes at a very affordable price. The feature long and convenient hours, from 6:00 a.m to 9:00 pm seven days per week, 365 days per year (7am opening in winter).
The car wash experience is designed with convenience and ease of use in mind. From the user friendly auto attendants with video instructions and touch screen operation, to the guided conveyor and visual confirmation signs, its a unique and fun experience going through it.
Many local dignitaries were on hand to celebrate the event, including Hesperia Economic Development Director Steven Lantsberger, Mayor Thurston Smith, Planning Commissioner Bill Muller and Dillon Lesovsky, a representative for Congressman Cook’s office. Speedwash owners Patti Smith, Fred Simab and Pedram Faraooy also participated in the groundbreaking.
